1st Place - NSW Government SIRA Hackathon

Working in a team of three. Our solution "High-risk builder cohort notification service" was awarded first place in a hackathon run by the NSW State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) and NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.

Using department provided data, I implemented a Machine Learning Model to predict the likelihood of a builder receiving a claim under the NSW Home Building Compensation Cover scheme.

My role was to aggregate 100,000+ records of Builder, Complaints and Policy data into a workable format using descriptive statistics, then train a predictive model on this data to predict the likelihood of a claim.
